Skill Factor at Darrick Sports Centre!

Our Skill Factor Club is a technical based session for young players of all abilities. It takes place takes place on the all weather 3G floodlit pitch at Darrick Sports Centre from 6-7pm during term time.

This club helps players to develop their dribbling skills this term along with learning moves to dribble past defenders and improve their first touch. Match time is also included in the session for players to bring their skills into these small sided games.

The Monday Club is for year groups 2-6.

My son loves the sessions at Skills Academy, in his own words ' you actually learn from it, it's fun and relaxing and I love the penalty shoot out!' He comes back smiling and always wanting to go back....that's enough for me!

Was really impressed with the amount of coaches and the quality of the sessions on the holiday course. Much more effort than the other soccer schools. Instead of coaches sitting on the sidelined where kids play matches all day, the day was broken up with a variety of training sessions. This gave some of the beginners a chance to touch the ball and develop their skills. By the end of the week I could really see a difference!

My son loves this club and the staff are really nice with the kids and accommodating, even helping us all get in and out of the carpark safely in the busy summer camps. The price is also great for the weekly clubs so it's affordable and my son can go enjoy himself doing his favourite sport!

Highly recommended this fantastic football club. My son goes every week and there's not a single week that he doesn't come home buzzing from having such a great time. it's not only fun, it's great exercise, a great opportunity to socialise with friends outside school hours and great for learning coordination and following instructions. The coaches are fantastic and work with all ages of kids brilliantly! Great value for money too.

My son absolutely loves attending the holiday football camps. He goes every school holiday for a min of 2 days each week. It's great to be able to send him somewhere he enjoys so much, which is also so well run. I would highly recommend them.

Despite the really hot weather in August, my son had a fantastic time at football camp this year. the team really looked after him and varied the activities so the kids didn't get too exhausted (the water fights were such a good idea!). After so many weeks of lockdown, it was brilliant for him to be active and playing with others again. thanks so much for all your efforts to run the camp so well and following all the rules to keep safe too.

My son has just finished 3 weeks at the Skills academy summer camp and has had the best time! He has been smiling at the end of every day! All of the coaches and staff have been amazing and are so friendly. they have been dealing with all of the new guidelines but have managed to do so without affecting the fun of the children! There were some days when I thought the heat would be too much but there was always a plan to keep the children cool and safe! massive thumbs up from us! until next time......
