Welcome to SKILLS ZONE, where commitment meets creativity! Our “On The Ball” sessions are crafted to shape the football technicians of tomorrow. With a focus on developing technical ability and building confidence on the ball, these sessions challenge players to elevate their game.
With a strong emphasis on attention to detail, we believe in the power of mastering the ball at your feet. As Lionel Messi once said, “It’s the small details that make the difference”.
Led by FA qualified coaches and overseen by Head Coach, Mitchell Garrett, Academy Coach at Charlton Athletic Football Club, we provide a structured, supportive, and safe environment designed to nurture growth and unlock potential.
At SKILLS ZONE, we don’t just play football – we build players ready to take their game to the next level!

Soccer Saturdays
The sessions running at Warren Road school (or at Harris during the winter) are booked termly. Please click the ‘Book now’ link to book your place or join the waiting list if full.
These fun based sessions consist of plenty of time for learning practices which help every player to develop their technical skills. Each week is a different topic which allow for passing, shooting and dribbling but also a range of other fun techniques to practice such as: penalties, free-kicks, 1v1 defending, crossing and finishing and more
The sessions at Darwin Leisure Centre will be Drop in ones as before so there is no need to pre-book. You can pay at the reception and then go to the AstroTurf pitch. You will just need to provide your details for the register to comply with ‘track and trace’.
Inset Day Camps
Occasionally schools have teacher training/Inset days and we run Fun Football and Sports camps on these days when schools give the go-ahead to help working parents and of course for any children who just love the idea of playing football or different sports with their friends all day!
Footballers can join our football day camp with a series of skills exercises, a penalty shoot-out and plenty of time for matches!
For those who would like to try different sports, we also run a day of sports games which include activities such as; dodgeball, quick cricket and tennis, among other fun games for all abilities.
They are for boys and girls in all Primary School years and tend to run from 9am to 3.30pm to match closer to the usual school day. Participants are kept in their group for the day and time is allowed for breaks and lunch, along with toilet breaks.
What to bring: Packed lunch, drinks & suitable sports clothing and footwear.
