At Skills Academy, we are committed to maintaining the trust of our customers and visitors to our online platforms. Skills Academy is strongly against selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes, so we do not take part in this. To assure your confidence, we have provided detailed information of when and why we collect your personal information. What information we require
We only hold information that is necessary to book your child onto a session and ensure correct safeguarding procedures are put in place. At Skills Academy we require; first and last name, email address, mobile number, emergency contact number, a record of relevant medical conditions and allergies of attendees.
We do not hold any other information other than what has been stated above. This information is usually collected via telephone when a booking is made. It is also collected via email or online forms.
How it’s used
We use information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about changes to the Skills Academy/upcoming events; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are correct and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. If appropriate permission is given, marketing information will be sent to you via email or SMS. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We do not collect any cookies when users visit our site.
When someone visits skillsacademyltd.com we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
As part of the registration process, we collect personal information. We may be required to share contact information with the school that your child attends but the details will be the same information that the school already holds. This information is used to check attendance and to ensure correct safeguarding measures are put in place.
At some venues, we keep hard copy registers there for coaches to access at sessions. These registers are kept securely. Old registers are shredded when being discarded.
No payment information is shared.
Access to your personal information
Skills Academy may require to access your information remotely. It is important that a register is completed at the beginning and after lunch of each session. So these registers may be accessed remotely by the head coach as opposed to printing a copy.
